NCPA Repertoire
Date: December 15th, 2020-March 1st, 2021
Venue: West Exhibition Hall, North Underwater Corridor, NCPA
Artistic production has been part of the NCPA’s vision since its establishment. The NCPA always takes artistic production as its core business. Over the past 13 years, the NCPA has developed 94 repertoires in 1,661 performances, including opera, Peking Opera, drama, dance drama and musical drama.
The purpose of artistic production is to serve the public. There may still be room for improvements of these productions, but they have enriched cultural life and became a part of people’s life. With them, the NCPA has practised its core vision of “drawing arts closer to life and changing the life with arts”.
Looking back on the past, the NCPA has been focusing on the productions of both “Chinese Commissions” and “World Classics”. Several excellent Chinese commissions went on the world tour, and at the same time, many world famous creatives and artists came to the NCPA for participation in artistic productions. From the new production of world classics to the new creation of Chinese stories, the NCPA never stops its work on exploration and innovation.
Thanks to all Chinese and foreign artists participants for their passionate efforts in artistic creations on this long but winding journey. Thanks to the audience for their attention, support and great kindness to the NCPA.
