The Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition is officially approved by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the PRC and is supported by the Beijing Municipal Government. It is hosted by the NCPA and organized by the Beijing Xiaoxing Ballet Art Development Foundation. The competition aims to develop the ballet art as well as to promote international art exchange including dancing and choreography techniques, education system, talents scout, etc. Having successfully held the competition for four times in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017, NCPA holds the 5^th Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition from July 13^th to July 21^st, 2019.
