The 2019 NCPA International Opera Film Exhibition is unveiled on August 3rd until October 31st. The event brings together the NCPA, the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Teatro Real de Madrid, Teatro Torino, SMG and Shanghai Jingju Theatre Company.
From August to October, 14 Chinese and foreign films will be shown on approximately 400 screens in 22 cinemas in 10 cities including Beijing, Chengdu, Dalian, Hangzhou, Wuxi, Shanghai, Kunming, Wuhan, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. Additionally, fans meetings, themed lectures and preview talks will be weaved in four cities to give audiences a fresh experience with opera films.
