The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) opened on December 22nd, 2007. At the exhibition, abundant collections and archives will draw you closer to feel the unique charm of the NCPA. The exhibition is composed of four parts, i.e., “A Palace for Elegant Art Performances”, “A Window into China”, “A Theatre that Serves, Benefits, and Stays Close to the People”, and "Enabling Virtual Art Products Through Technology". The NCPA is one of the top palaces for elegant art in China. It presents outstanding works from the East and the West and has attracted maestros from around the world. Adhering to a people-centered production guideline and inspired from everyday life and the experiences of the people, it writes and sings for the people. The NCPA regards the quality of its works as its lifeline and strives to create more outstanding works that live up to our time, promoting the Chinese spirit and uniting the Chinese strength.
