“Picturesque Scene—The Second NCPA Contemporary Blue-Green Chinese Landscape Painting Exhibition" is a visual art exhibition brand built by the NCPA in order to promote contemporary Chinese blue-green landscape paintings. Themed, “An Eyeful of Blue Green”, this year’s exhibition is designed to popularize the long-lost knowledge of blue-green landscape among the general public and show extensive development of blue-green landscape culture in the contemporary Chinese historical and cultural context through carefully selected contemporary paintings. In the presence of crossover artists, people can gain a much deeper understanding of the concept of “blue-green landscape”, which is taken out of the hidebound art genre, extending to a broader space of artistic expressions.
