Themed “A Decade of Theatrical Excellence”, the NCPA International Theater Festival 2024 is held from July 6th to December 6th, featuring 62 performances in 17 sessions. Theatrical masterpieces from various countries will be staged under four sub-themes, including “In Beijing·Behold the World”, “Mimes·The Art Without Voice”, “Musicals·Curtains Raise Over a New Stage”, and “Chinese Shows·Chinese Sentiments”.
The Festival will kick off with the NCPA’s productions of Shakespeare’s Hamlet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (for Open-air Theatre), and end with The Glass Menagerie by Director Ivo van Hove.
