In the first half, every dancer makes a gesture of feeling lonely and confused. For certain movements, they seem totally different when presented under the theme of love and warmth in the second half, making the whole stage atmosphere no longer gloomy, but bright.
It worths mentioning that the only prop on stage is a silver telescopic pipe that looks like the exhaust duct of a smoke exhauster. The dancers look at one another through the pipe as if they are looking for a way to overcome loneliness.
At the Chinese Dance for 12 Days 2019, the rising choreographers will show their insights on life by concretizing their spiritual sustenance in dance or following the traces of culture and history on their toes.
From July 8th, MAO Yuexin's Golden Cicada Sculpture and Candy Figurine, ZHU Han and CHEN Weike's Boya’s Swan Song on the Strings, YAN He's My Way, SU Xuebing and GUO Jiao's Waiting Differently will be staged respectively.
