In January 2014, 100 years after its premiere in China, the NCPA's production of Ibsen's drama A Doll's House was staged as a salute to the classic, which deeply discusses the timelesstheme, marriage, family and humanity. This is the first experimental theatre drama ever produced by NCPA independently.  

On the evening of July 21, NCPA's production of A Doll's House began its run. It was directed by Ren Ming and performed by Cao Ying, Wang Ban, Luo Xi, Yu Fangyuan, Sun Lishi and Wang Yue. It was presented again in Beijing after its tour in Xi’an, Chongqing and Hualian County, Taiwan. The famous actor Wang Ban and his wife Cao Ying presented the hot topic marriage on the stage and showed the audience a new "Nora" with exquisite production and wonderful performance.  

A Doll's House was presented at NCPA's Multi-functional Theatre and will run for six days from 21 July.
