With deep regret, we hereby announce that Alexandrov Ensemble of the Russian Armed Forces Spring Festival Performance, scheduled to be presented at NCPA from February 5^th to 8^th, 2017, has to be cancelled due to an unfortunate aircraft accident involving the Ensemble.

Hailed as the oldest, largest and most renowned military song and dance art group in Russia, and also the only national art ensemble that travels around the world with President Putin, the Alexandrov Ensemble truly shows the brilliant artistic essence of the Russian nation. After being informed of the aircraft accident, NCPA felt extreme sorrow and regret, rapidly sought confirmation and expressed its deep condolences and sympathy. Due to the close attention the Ensemble has paid to their performance in China, after their assessment of the losses, they particularly stressed the difficulty to accomplish the performance and regret having to cancel.
