“I Love Beijing - Spring Festival Gala” 2020 to be staged soon

On the afternoon of January 7^th, the press conference of “I Love Beijing- Spring Festival Gala” 2020 was held at the NCPA. Staff from Beijing Spiritual Civilization Office and relevant department of the NCPA, stage director of the gala as well as representatives of citizen performers attended the conference, and introduced the highlights for this year’s gala.

“I Love Beijing- Spring Festival Gala” is an annual civic cultural event co-produced by Beijing Spiritual Civilization Office and the NCPA. The yearly gala has been held for eight times, bringing nearly 10,000 citizens onto the stage of the NCPA. The 2020 gala will meet with audiences at 15:00 and 19:30, January 14^th, to present ten elaborate programmes, ranging from dance, chorus, recitation, Chinese traditional opera and martial art. With the theme of “faith in family and homeland, beauty in Beijing”, the performance will be joined by more than 800 citizens of 15 civic organizations, with the percentage of citizen performers reaching 80%.

Start at 17:00, January 7^th, audiences could acquire gala tickets by visiting the page of “Spring Festival Gala” on the official website of the NCPA. On January 14^th, the gala will be live-streamed on the webpage of “Spring Festival Gala” and Classical Music Channel of the NCPA official website.

The 2020 gala will meet with audiences at 15:00 and 19:30, January 14^th.

The launch of “I Love Beijing- Spring Festival Gala” 2020 also marks the beginning of “Being civilized and courteous Beijing people - A tour to the palace of high art” activities, which will lead more citizens into the NCPA to enjoy the happiness of art appreciation.
