The BFPA takes openness and inclusiveness, mutual respect, equal cooperation and reciprocal benefits as its principles and aims to build a community with a shared future for theatres. The Alliance stands committed to build an open multilateral exchange platform to facilitate cooperation among its members; strengthening experience sharing and mutual assistance of the members; developing non-governmental and regional exchanges between institutions; encouraging the development of performing arts with ethnic and regional characteristics to promote cultural diversity; and fostering the integration of science and technology with the performing arts. The permanent office of the BFPA is its secretariat, which is located at the NCPA.
To provide a platform for members of the BFPA to display their artworks and to build a bridge for exchange and mutual learning, the official website of the BFPA is now available.
