On March 25th, the NCPA and China National Film Museum (CNFM) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. WANG Ning, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Beijing Municipal Committee and President of the NCPA, WANG Cheng and GONG Jicheng, Vice Presidents of the NCPA, CHEN Ling, Director of the CNFM, WANG Xiangrong, XU Weigong, TANG Kaiwen and FENG Yi, Vice Directors of the CNFM, attended the ceremony.
The two parties have agreed to work together to explore the UHD live stream performances in cinemas, collaborate on the regular or centralized screening of stage performance videos, establish an academic exchange platform for opera film shooting techniques, stage art, scene design and other professional fields, organize regular academic seminars, and co-host thematic activities.
WANG Ning, President of the NCPA, said, “With the rapid development of technology, it is a common challenge for both institutions to use high-tech to drive cultural innovation. Both the NCPA and the CNFM are national cultural platforms. We hope that after the signing of the agreement, the two institutions will join forces to produce masterpieces with the power of technology, so as to make greater contributions to the prosperity of culture and arts in Beijing and China.”
CHEN Ling, Director of the CNFM, added: “The signing of the agreement is of great significance to the future high-quality development of the CNFM. We look forward to having more cooperation with the NCPA in film and film music; we also expect both parties to achieve greater results in the inheritance, development and innovation of traditional Chinese culture.”
