SYNOPSIS
Around 1150 BC, the Hebrew people suffer from the ravages of the philistines. Just when the Hebrew people sigh on the Gaza square, Samson walks out from the crowd, and encourages people to unite and fight against the enemy. The Gaza Governor Abimelech and Philistine soldiers deride the people inspired by Samson. Seeing the enemy appear, Samson chants “It’s time for revenge”. Furious Abimelech attacks Samson with a sword, but powerful Samson avoids the blow, and grabs the sword and kills him. When the High Priest walking out of the temple sees Abimelech be killed by Samson, he orders the soldiers to kill Samson and the Hebrew people, but the soldiers dare not execute the command due to the power of Samson. The Hebrews celebrate for the freedom, and elect Samson as the new leader.

When the gate of Dagon Temple is open, Dalila walks out accompanied by the Philistine girls. With her charm, Daila tempts to allure Samson, and Samson is eventually captured. The philistines unreconciled to the defeat let Dalila defraud Samson’s secret of the divine power. With the Dalila's temptation and detailed inquiry, Samson tells that his divine power is derived from his hair, to prove his love for Dalila.

As a result, Samson is shaved off the hair by Dalila, and his eyes are also digged out by the philistines afterwards. Samson then not only serves as coolie, but also suffers from the indignities of High Priest, Dalila, and the philistines. Samson repents mutely, and hopes to be endowed with divine power again. When the philistines worship at the temple, Samson suddenly feels energized all over, and he pushes down the giant columns of the temple, and perishes together with three thousand enemy.
