SHAN Chong is a national first-class actress at the China National Opera & Dance Drama Theatre, and Vice Chairman of the China Dancers Association, enjoying special government allowances from the State Council. She is a famous dancer, a member of the 11^th and 12^th National Committee of CPPCC, one of the Second National Young and Middle-aged Literary and Art Workers who are Brilliant Professionally and Morally, one of the Literary and Artistic Talents of the “Four Batches” named by the Publicity Department of the CPC, a national woman pacesetter, one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons named by the Ministry of Culture, and a member of the 11^th National Committee of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

SHAN has won numerous prizes including the 15^th Plum Blossom Prize, the “Five-One Project” Award for the 15^th Session of Spiritual Civilization Construction, the 9^th and 12^th Wenhua Award for Performance, the Gold Award in the First “Lotus Cup” National Dance Competition, the Best Actress Award in the Second “Lotus Cup” Dance Drama and Dance Poet Competition, the Best Actress Award at the Second Chinese Festival of Dance & Fifth “Lotus Cup” Dance Drama and Dance Poet Competition, the Gold Award for Performance and Best Popularity Award in the First CCTV Dance Competition, and the Special Artistic Achievement Award in the First International Delphic Games.

SHAN is the artistic director of dance dramas Taming of the Princess, Loyal to the Country, Hero on the Great Wall, LIU Hulan, and Great Harmony, the art director of dance drama Heroic Sons and Daughters, and the duo dance director of dance drama Railway Guerilla.

SHAN has starred in more than 30 large-scale dance dramas including Heroic Sons and Daughters, Railway Guerilla, The Dream of Red Mansions, The Wilderness, The Lüliang Heroes, and Moon over Helan Mountain.

HU Yang is a major dancer of China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater, graduating from the Department of Chinese Classical Dance, Beijing Dance Academy. He won the Silver Award in juniors’ group B of the 8^th National “Peach and Plum Cup” Dance Competition and the Gold Award in youth group of the 10^th National “Peach and Plum Cup” Dance Competition. In 2013, he became the winner of the Excellent Performance Award of the Collective Show of Excellent Plays sponsored by the Ministry of Culture for his starring in the dance drama Confucius.
