Taihu is such a pleasant place to be in the evening. The spirited musicians fired up the audience by enthralling them with their grooves. The relaxing jazz music and refreshing breeze made for delightful evening. Cold snacks and drinks were available. Many audience members brought their friends or families to enjoy the charming jazz evenings in the early summer.


On the evening of May 30^th, the final performance of the 2021 Taihu Jazz Festival had come to a successful conclusion serving up big rounds of applause from the audience. The jazz feast lasted for five days, with 19 bands and 108 musicians bringing more than 100 pieces for nearly 2,000 music fans in attendance.


With classical tunes and an enchanting atmosphere, the audience was impressed by the five summer nights belonging to jazz. One audience member said, “The bands all presented their best works, which is rare in a jazz show. The performance was very exciting, allowing us jazz lovers to enjoy some of our favourite bands at the same gig and to discover more different styles of jazz.”


A forum on the theme, “The Branding and Development of the Taihu Jazz Festival” was held at the Taihu Stage Art Centre. Many experts from the academia and industry gathered together to share their views on the education, performance, development and promotion of jazz music.
