NCPA reached a strategic partnership with CCOM

On December 23^rd, the NCPA and the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) have reached a strategic cooperation agreement. WANG Ning, Vice Chairman of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and President of the NCPA, ZHAO Tiechun and ZHU Jing, Vice Presidents of the NCPA, ZHAO Min, Secretary of the Party Committee of the CCOM, YU Hongmei, Vice President of the CCOM and other leaders attended the signing ceremony.

As one of the world’s leading national centre for the performing arts, the NCPA has always cherished its original aspirations to serve the people with arts, by constantly providing classical performances, presenting fine productions, broadening artistic audiences, and creating an art palace for the people. The NCPA and the CCOM, a world-renowned conservatory, have jointly decided to enter into a strategic cooperation to accelerate the development of cultural centre and jointly promote the prosperous development of arts and aesthetic education.

The NCPA President WANG Ning said, “Over the years, the NCPA has made lots of effort to build a platform for performing arts, original arts, arts education and popularization, comprehensive exhibitions and international exchanges. Through the partnership with the CCOM, we will work together to build a stage for music creations and performances, internship programmes for universities, as well as a platform for music popularization, education and research. We hope the outstanding talents from CCOM will shine brightly on the stage of the NCPA.”

ZHAO Min, Secretary of the Party Committee of the CCOM, said, “Over the years, our two sides have maintained good relations and established a solid cooperation mechanism, reflecting a strong partnership in creations, performances, studies, practices, research and applications. The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement will not only consolidate the long-term cooperation between our two sides, but also opens a new chapter of in-depth cooperation between us in various fields.”
