Programme and Conductor Change: “Rhapsody in Spring” Lawrence Foster, Simon Zhu and NCPAO

“Rhapsody in Spring” Lawrence Foster, Simon Zhu and NCPAO, scheduled for 19:30 p.m. on February 6th–7th, 2026 in the NCPA Concert Hall, will see a change in conductor. Maestro Lawrence Foster is unable to perform due to illness. The concert will now be led by LÜ Jia, the NCPA's Music Artistic Director and renowned conductor.

The programme has been updated as follows:
Rossini: Overture to Il barbiere di Siviglia
Paganini: Violin Concerto No. 2 in B Minor “La campanella”, Op. 7
Mendelssohn: Symphony No. 4 in A Major “Italian”, Op. 90
