Cast Change: National Ballet of China The Red Detachment of Women

NCPA July/24/2026
Dear Audience,

Due to injuries sustained by QIU Yunting and XU Yan, who were originally cast as Qionghua in the National Ballet of China's The Red Detachment of Women, to be performed at the Opera House of the NCPA from July 30th to August 2nd, 2026, the cast has been adjusted as follows:

· The role of "Qionghua" will now be performed by NING Long and LIU Xinwei.
· QIU Yunting will remain in the role of "Comrade".
· GAO Tan has been added to the cast as "HONG Changqing".
· The "Comrade" roles originally played by XU Yan and LI Jie will be replaced by FANG Mengying.

All other cast members remain unchanged. The updated cast lineup for each performance is as follows:

HONG Changqing: SHE Zhaohuan
Commander: LIU Xuechen
Xiao'e: YIN Yingyan
Little PANG: HOU Xulei
Comrade-on-arms: QIU Yunting
Nanbatian: JIANG Wei
Laosi: LIU Kai

Qionghua: LI Jie
HONG Changqing: WU Sicong
Commander: HE Ying
Xiao'e: ZHANG Zifu
Little PANG: WANG Yuxuan
Comrade-on-arms: FANG Mengying
Nanbatian: JIANG Wei
Laosi: QI Haohan

Xiao'e: YIN Yingyan
