Cast Change: NCPA Opera Rigoletto

NCPA September/09/2026

For the opera Rigoletto, to be performed at the Opera House of the NCPA from September 16^th to 20^th, 2026 at 7:00 PM, baritone Ludovic Tezier, who was originally cast as Rigoletto, will be unable to participate in the performances on September 16^th, 18^th and 20^th due to personal health reasons. Baritone Fabien Veloz will step in these three performances.

Fabien Veloz's repertoire includes some of Verdi's most demanding roles, with performances in Rigoletto, Macbeth, Otello, Don Carlo, Falstaff and La Traviata. He has also performed the role of Rigoletto at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti in Modena, and the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. His performances have taken him across Argentina, Europe, the United States and Asia, and he has collaborated with renowned opera houses including the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Teatro Regio Torino. In 2019, he was invited to perform the role of Giorgio Germont in the NCPA opera La Traviata.
