SYNOPSIS
In 1945, Moscow was blanketed with snow. XIAN Xinghai was ill and failed to return to China. He looked back on his life and his thoughts flew like the snowflakes.

He had drifted on the “sea”, trained in the crucible of society, and let his musical dreams fly in the bitter cold winds. He loved his motherland without reservation. He once marched in the midst of the “torrent”, sang with the strongest voice in the squares and the streets, explored the way to save China, and dedicated his heart and soul to the CPC in the company of his beloved and comrades. He lived outside of his homeland, struggling to survive in turmoil. He pined for his homeland, longing to see his newborn daughter and the revitalized China. He was unswerving in his faith.

The roar of the Yellow River echoed in his heart. Though his life is gone, his faith remains eternal.
