Ric Furman Apr. 2nd
Following his studies at the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati and at Western Illinois University, the tenor was employed by the Seattle Opera, the Virginia Opera, the Portland Opera and the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra. In 2014, Furman was one of nine finalists at the International Wagner Singing Competition and was also honoured with the New York City Wagner Society Prize in the same year. His career in Europe began with his debut as Anatol in "Vanessa" at the Theater Hagen, which was followed by further debuts as the Mayor in "Friedenstag" and Apollo in "Daphne" with the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra under the musical direction of Zoltán Kocsis.
In the 2015/16 season, Furman was engaged at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, where he sang Dimitri in "Boris Godunov", Alvaro in "La forza del destino", Rodolfo in "La Bohème", Cavaradossi in "Tosca", Pollione in "Norma", Kaiser in "Die Frau ohne Schatten" and Siegmund in "Die Walküre", expanding his Wagner and Strauss repertoire in particular. He then worked mainly as a freelancer.
The tenor made his debut at the Theater Magdeburg in 2017 as the Prince in "Rusalka" and returned there in autumn 2018 for roles as Siegmund and Anatol. After great success as Erik in "Der fliegende Holländer" at the 2018 Budapest Wagner Festival, a role as Boris in "Katja Kabanova" led him to the Scottish Opera in Glasglow.
In the 19/20 season, Furman performed the tenor role in Mahler's 8th Symphony with the Orchestre National de Lille and appeared as Bacchus in "Ariadne auf Naxos" in Weimar and as Matteo in "Arabella" in Leipzig. He also appeared as Augustin Moser at the 2021 Bayreuther Festspiele and as Hoffmann in "Les Contes d'Hoffmann" at the Komische Oper Berlin in 2022.
In the 22/23 season, Furman made his debut as Peter Grimes at the Theater Magdeburg and shortly afterwards also performed this role in productions at the Staatstheater Augsburg. Later that year, the tenor also toured the UK as Bacchus in "Ariadne auf Naxos" with Opera North.
Highlights of this season include the new production of "Die Walküre" at the Theater Basel conducted by Jonathan Nott and directed by Benedikt von Peter, his role as Florestan in "Fidelio" in Bari, as well as two semi-concert performances of "Die Walküre" conducted by Kent Nagano at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Kölner Philharmonie.
Ric Furman commenced the 2024/25 season with the role of Boris in "Katja Kabanova" at Staatstheater Kassel.
Currently, Ric Furman is singing Tristan in "Tristan and Isolde" at Theater Lübeck. At the beginning of next year, audiences at Opéra du Rhin, Strasbourg can look forward to performances of the "Miracle of Heliane" with Ric Furman as the stranger.

The Swiss soprano is celebrated for her poignant interpretations of the youthful dramatic soprano repertoire. This season, she will perform as Senta in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Luxembourg, and Brussels. On a tour with the Hungarian National Philharmonic, she will sing the title role in Liszt's The Legend of Saint Elizabeth in Vienna, Budapest, and Amsterdam. At the Teatro Real in Madrid, she will be heard alongside Michael Volle in a Wagner gala. Guest performances in recent seasons have taken her to the Deutsche Oper Berlin (Senta), Staatsoper Hamburg, Teatro Real Madrid, Semperoper Dresden, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Bavarian State Opera, Staatsoper Unter den Linden (Pamina), as well as the Bayreuth Festival (Gutrune/Götterdämmerung). She regularly collaborates with conductors such as Riccardo Chailly and Kent Nagano.

Liang Li is an internationally renowned bass. Being one of the most sought-after opera singers in the international music scene today, he can be seen at various world-class theatres and festivals. He has portrayed every bass character that suits him, including those in the works by Mozart, Verdi and Wagner.
Liang Li maintains long-term partnerships with lots of renowned conductors including Mariss Jansons, Zubin Mehta, Myung-Whun Chung, Tomas Netopil, Sylvain Cambreling, Manfred Honeck, LÜ Jia, YU Long and Shao-Chia Lü.
Liang Li has starred in Nabucco, Turandot, Norma, Aida, Rigoletto, Don Carlos, Simon Boccanegra, Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute, Macbeth, Eugene Onegin, Il Trovatore, Tannhäuser, Der Fliegende Holländer, Parsifal, Das Rheingold, Tristan und Isolde, Die Walküre and other operas. He has performed at the Opéra national de Paris, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Grand Theatre de Geneve, Opéra de Lyon, Dutch National Opera Amsterdam, Teatro Real, Hamburg State Opera, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Hungarian State Opera House, Teatro di San Carlo Naples, Bolshoi Theatre, Stuttgart State Opera and other internationally renowned theatres.
Liang Li is also a frequent performer at the Baden-Baden Easter Festival, one of the most prestigious music festivals in the world. He has worked closely with Jonathan Nott, Simon Rattle and many other world-renowned conductors. With his wide concert repertoire, Liang Li has appeared many times on important international concert stages, e.g., he worked with the Berliner Philharmoniker on Manon Lescaut, with the Munich Philharmonic on Mozart’s Mass in C Minor, with the Symphonie-Orchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks on Dvořák’s Stabat Mater, with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra on Mozart’s Requiem and Verdi’s Requiem, and with the Teatro alla Scala on Beethoven’ Symphony No. 9 during its tour to Astana and the Duomo di Milano, and acted in Dvořák’s Stabat Mater at the Müpa Budapest.
Liang Li has won a number of international singing competitions, including the ARD International Music Competition, the Bertelsmann Foundation “Internationaler Gesangswettbewerb Neue Stimmen” and the Shizuoka “International Opera Competition”. In November 2016, he was awarded the title of “Meritorious Singer” by the Stuttgart State Opera. In 2018, he won the “Bra Vo” Music Award in Moscow.

SONG Yuanming Apr. 3rd
Having been described as a “pure, great lyric soprano. Her voice is flexible, uniformly magnetic, soft and powerful, with delicate handling of soft voice in the upper range” by Vienna Cultural Media , SONG Yuanming obtained Graduate Artist Diploma and Double Master’s Degree in “Opera and Light Opera” and “Art Songs and Cantata” at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna under the tutelage of Professor Franz Lukasovsky. Meanwhile, she graduated from The Prayner Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Arts in Vienna, majoring in flute. As a professor, SONG Yuanming teaches at the Voice and Opera Department of the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing.
She has won several awards including the first prize at the 48th Concours International de Chant de La Ville de Toulouse; “Best Soprano” at the 13th Tagliavini International Vocal Competition in Austria; the first prize and the award of “Best Singer” at the 44th Antonín Dvořák International Vocal Competition in the Czech Republic.
She has performed at Schlosstheater Schönbrunn, Goldener Saal, the Grazer Opera House, Karlovy Vary Opera House, Carnegie Hall, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Buenos Aires Teatro, Santiago Teatro in Chile, China’s National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall, Hong Kong City Hall and Salzburger Festspiele, and has worked with Wiener Philharmoniker, Philadelphia Orchestra as well as renowned conductors including Riccardo Muti, Daniel Barenboim, Valery Gergiev and Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
SONG Yuanming has starred in operas including Don Giovanni, Le Nozze di Figaro, Die Fledermaus, Turandot, La Bohème, L’Italiana in Algeri, Guglielmo Tell, La Traviata, Don Pasquale, Die Lustige Witwe, L’Elisir d’Amore, Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Il Trovatore, Rickshaw Boy, and The Sunrise. In 2024 SONG Yuanming made her debut in Wagner’s Der Fliegende Holländer in the stage performance produced by China’s National Centre for the Performing Arts, as the title role Senta. Her performance was highly acclaimed by the Music Weekly as “…with a voice with softness while solidly stable, making Senta the shining star of the night”. Also in 2024 SONG Yuanming has presented a recital on lieder at the Arnold Schönberg Center in Vienna.
SONG Yuanming has sung Beethoven's Ninth Symphony as a soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the live recording was published and distributed by DG. In 2021, her album Favourite Lieder of Richard Strauss was released by NAXOS. In June 2024, NAXOS released a second album The Magic Wonderland Opens before Our Gaze for SONG Yuanming, which she recorded with the leading vocal coach and pianist Charles Spencer, on lieder by Austrian composers from the 19th and 20th centuries.
