With the development of the music, a tragic theme full of conflicts was unvailed. The piano and the orchestra added glow and beauty, with the piano lingering on throughout the concert, which lasted over 40 minutes. The amazing cadenza sounded very lively under Berezovsky’s interpretation.

In the second half, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra performed Rachmaninoff's Symphony No.2 in E Minor again for the Beijing audience under Yuri Temirkanov’s baton. The audience was touched by the composer's blue musical emotions with a deep and lingering melody of string music and the elegant, calm but melancholic tone of woodwind. Along with the triumphant tone of brass-wind music in the last movement, the concert was in a jubilant atmosphere, and the audience immersed in the affecting melody for a long time.
The evening's performance not only brought an artistic feast for the audiences at the NCPA Concert Hall, but also showed concert highlights to off-site audiences on various live broadcasting channels such as ncpa-classic.com, cctv.com, migu.cn, v.qq.com, toutiao.com, ixigua.com and cibn.cc.
