Children's opera commission Effendi is to be performed at NCPA again

  • From May 25th to June 1st, 2017, children’s opera commission Effendi, created and staged by NCPA in the last year, will be performed in NCPA again as a Children’s Day gift to kids.

  • As two newly-created characters, Red Willow Fairy and Moon Fairy endow the opera with the elements of fairy tales.

  • In the upcoming seven performances, last year’s main vocalists, such as WANG Hongwei, GUAN Zhijing and MENG Meng will continue to play. Additionally, the opera will be joined by a group of new performers, including NCPA resident artists JIN Zhengjian, ZhANG Yang, and WANG Jing.
