Born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, he began to play the piano at age 8. Three years later, he enrolled in the "Dobrin Petkov" National School of Music in his home city, where he studied with Stella Oslekova. In 2003, he met Prof. Tamara Poddubnaya, who invited him to join her Young Talents' Class at the Prins Claus Conservatorium, Groningen, the Netherlands. Following graduation from the Dobrin Petkov School in 2008, he enrolled at the Royal Academy of Music, London, where he began his study with Christopher Elton and continues with Hamish Milne.
Competitions, recitals, and participation in piano festivals have taken young Genchev to many European venues, as well as to the eastern United States. Since age 12 he has won major prizes in international competitions, including the Nikolai Rubinstein International Competition in Paris, the International Competition of French Music, held in his home city of Plovdiv, and in the Maria Yudina International Piano Competition in St. Petersburg. He received 1st prize in the "Hopes, Talents, Masters" International Competition in Dobrich-Albena, Bulgaria, and the Grand Prix of the Peter the Great Festival in Groningen, the Netherlands, in 2006. It was also in 2006 that Evgeny Genchev was first invited to perform in the United States, to participate in the Portland (Maine) Conservatory's International Piano Festival, at which he received the Overall Excellence Award, following which he participated in the Rondo Festival, Bennington, Vermont. After garnering the 1st prize in the 2007 Valery Gavrilin Governor's International Piano Competition in Vologda, Russia, he returned to the United States in July 2007, to join Music without Borders International Piano Festival, held at Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine, following which he participated in the LISMA Foundation's International Music Festival and Competition on the SUNY-Old Westbury (Long Island, New York) university campus and was awarded first prize in the piano competition. While there, he performed Saint-Sa?ns Carnival of the Animals with the LISMA Festival Orchestra, conducted by Arkady Leytush. Evgeny was honored to receive the prestigious Dobrin Petkov Prize for High Musical Achievements upon graduating from the National School of Music in Plovdiv in 2008. That same year, he returned to Maine, where he made his solo debut Piano Series Recital at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston, then returned to Bulgaria to perform Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Plovdiv Philharmonic, conducted by Arto Chifchiyan. In the fall of 2008, he began his studies at the Royal Academy of Music, Long, supported by the Marjorie Trust.
Kateryna Titova has been awarded several scholarships, e.g. by the Moscow Vladimir Spivakov Foundation, the Oskar und Vera Ritter Foundation and the Lutz-E Adolf Foundation and the Rotary club.
Ms. Titova has appeared as a soloist and in chamber music recitals in Ukraine, Russia, Europe and in the USA, appearing with, for example, the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow Symphonic Orchestra in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire, the Dresden Sinfonietta, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, Philharmonieder Nationen with Justus Frantz, Prague Philharmonic Orchestra with Maxim Vengerov, at the International Music Festival in Vianado Castello (Portugal), Kissingersommer Festival and at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival.
He has performed in many concert halls in Moscow and other cities in and also in Italy, Germany, Holland, Austria, Czech Republic and USA. His solo recitals have featured many different programmes and he has performed with international orchestras including the Prague and Moscow Philharmonic Orchestras. He has recorded CDs in Holland and the Czech Republic.
Mr. Shamray has been awarded many prizes including: 3rd prize – The Young Pianists Competition, Senigalia 1995, 1st prize – Concertino-Praga 2000, 2nd prize – Higher Academies of Music International Competition. Russia 2007, Gold medal – The Russian Delphic Games.

Dedicated to the staging of epic operas, ballets and dance dramas, the golden Opera House is considered the centerpiece of the NCPA. Its main tone is golden color, which looks glamorous and splendid. In the auditorium are the stalls and three higher levels of balconies, which can seat an audience of 2,207, including the venue of SRO. It is equipped with a modern stage that can be moved up/down/backward/forward or rotated, a ballet stage that can slant, and a rising orchestra pit for the triple winds orchestra. All the cutting-edge staging mechanism provides artists with enormous possibilities of creative performance.
