This series consists of four thematic concerts, 'Sing a Folk Song to the CPC' (July 12), 'Hymn Dedicated to the Great CPC' (July 13), 'Singing Towards the Sun' (July 14) and 'The CPC, Dear Mother' (July 15). Nearly 700 famous artists and literary and art workers of all ages, who are active in Chinese literary and art arena, are invited to sing nearly 100 famous classical revolutionary songs for the majority of audiences, with unprecedented cast, numerous repertoires and innovative choreography.
Classical music works are created one after another in different historical periods under the leadership of the CPC, which not only radiate revolutionary realism, but also radiate revolutionary romanticism. These works as an important part of China's socialist literature and art, and play an indelible role in unifying all people, boosting morale and winning victory of the national liberation and socialist construction. On the eve of the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC, these classical music works present in the form of large-scale series of concerts, which showcase and review for brilliant achievements of socialist literature and art undertakings. This will not only play an active role in bridging the past and the future to carry forward the existing undertakings and forge ahead into the future, but also will create a joyous and harmonious atmosphere to greet the victorious convening of the Eighteenth National Congress of the CPC.

Dedicated to the staging of epic operas, ballets and dance dramas, the golden Opera House is considered the centerpiece of the NCPA. Its main tone is golden color, which looks glamorous and splendid. In the auditorium are the stalls and three higher levels of balconies, which can seat an audience of 2,207, including the venue of SRO. It is equipped with a modern stage that can be moved up/down/backward/forward or rotated, a ballet stage that can slant, and a rising orchestra pit for the triple winds orchestra. All the cutting-edge staging mechanism provides artists with enormous possibilities of creative performance.
